Why is his name attached to a marinade, you might ask?
I spent a few years as the Chef at Tracks Cafe, which was one of his favorite places.
One night "Mookie" as some of us called him, asked me to make him something special.  Patron was his drink of choice, so I decided to incorporate it into his meal.  I marinated Salmon and Shrimp in a mixture of herbs and Patron. He loved it.
Mookie was killed in by senseless gun violence on Dec 2, 2017.
